ZEP has the pleasure to announce we will hold a session during the EU Industry Days 2023, in collaboration with GCCSI.
The session “Decarbonising with Carbon Capture and Storage: A Pathway to Green Transformation and Industrial Competitiveness” will gather stakeholders from NGOs and industries to discuss the green transition, with focus on CCS and highlighting specific sector applications, the challenges that industry faces in scaling up and deploying CCS as well as enabling conditions for deployment.
Synopsis
Reaching climate neutrality requires a transformation of energy- and carbon-intensive industries, such as cement, lime, steel, chemicals and waste. Recognising that carbon capture and storage (CCS) is an essential technology for the decarbonisation of those sectors, this session will focus on the potential of CCS in enabling net-zero and the conditions necessary for scale-up and deployment.
