Zişan joined the Zero Emissions Platform (ZEP) as a Policy Assistant, bringing an interdisciplinary background with a BSc. in Chemical Engineering and an MSc. in Environmental Sciences, as well as practical experience across research, think tanks, consulting, startups, and VC. Her work has focused on climate technologies, greenhouse gas accounting, and project coordination.

Prior to joining ZEP, she was a visiting researcher at the Yale MacMillan Center, where she examined the challenges developing countries face in deploying Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS), with a particular focus on ensuring a fair and equitable transition
