Jasmine Rowe
Policy AssistantIn her role as Policy Assistant, Jasmine focuses on advocacy matters by monitoring political and policy developments and helping policymakers gain a concrete and accurate understanding of industrial carbon management. The role involves frequent engagement with the European Parliament and ZEP Members, organising and attending briefings, roundtables, and events with policymakers, tracking political narratives, and producing concise summaries on ICM and EU climate and energy policy.
Jasmine graduated from the Master Programme in Law and Sustainability in Europe at Utrecht University, following a Bachelor’s degree in International and EU Law from the University of Groningen. Professionally, Jasmine gained experience in EU policy and advocacy while working at a Brussels-based NGO prior to joining ZEP, where she focused on EU food waste reduction policy, and as a trainee in the Market Integrity and Transparency department at the EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators.
Growing up bilingually (English and German), and having the privilege of studying and working in different countries across Europe, allowed Jasmine to experience diverse and international environments from which she learned greatly. This was particularly the case when she developed a passion for climate issues and volunteered in climate action spaces, where she met motivated people from around the world who care deeply about this topic.
