Aymeric Amand is Policy Manager at ZEP. He works closely with the EU institutions and ZEP’s members to help design and implement strong policies for industrial carbon management. He coordinates ZEP’s recommendations during public consultations and the drafting of ZEP’s policy briefs.

Previously, Aymeric was working for Sandbag, a climate think tank specialised in EU carbon pricing and industrial decarbonisation. He led their research on CCS/U technologies and carbon removals, and actively contributed to the EU ETS revision and CBAM design. He has also worked for E3G on gas and hydrogen, for FTI Consulting on EU environmental policies, and gives guest lectures in Lille on the politics of climate change.

In his free time, Aymeric enjoys playing the piano, spending a few hours each weekend doing DIY repairs, reading dystopian novels, and thinking about his next mountain treks.
