Discover the new ZEP
As industrial carbon management in Europe continues to evolve and grow, we believe embracing the future also means transforming how we engage with you.
As we enter the 20 year anniversary of ZEP, we’re ready to change and move forward with fresh ideas and approaches.
The story behind ZEP’s new identity
ZEP was established in late 2005, under the name ‘European Technology Platform for Zero Emission Fossil Fuel Power Plants.’ It was created to bring together stakeholders from across industry, research and civil society, all united by a common interest and mission: reducing CO₂ emissions through carbon capture and provide science-based advice to European institutions.
Twenty years later, with high ambitions, an expanding membership, a growing team and a new office, ZEP is ready to enter the next phase of European climate policy and continue to deliver on our mission.
This is why, over the past few months, we have taken time to reflect on how ZEP’s visual identity reflects our mission and values.
What is new?
A refreshed identity
Our new colors, graphics, and design reflect our desire to amplify our voice, and showcase the fresh ideas, discussions and topics happening within ZEP to a wider audience.
A new logo
Reducing and removing CO₂ from the atmosphere is essential to mitigating climate change. This means closing the carbon cycle through the large-scale deployment of industrial carbon management technologies. Our new logo represents permanent carbon storage – placing CO₂ where it belongs: out of the atmosphere.
An all-new website
Designed for today’s digital world, our new website offers an user-friendly and compelling home for all the interesting work ZEP puts together.
And this is just beginning – so watch this space for more features and updates.
Our mission remains the same
ZEP remains committed to providing science-based advice to policymakers on industrial carbon management. But now, we do so with a stronger presence—and a future-focused identity that reflects the impact we’re working to achieve.
